Radiated & Spurious Emissions Pre-Certification Testing
RFTek partners with the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina (WRC-NC) to provide pre-compliance and custom testing for FCC, CE, and PTCRB requirements using an anechoic chamber. RFTek is able to offer the following pre-certification testing:
-
Radiated and Conducted Emissions: FCC CFR47 Part 15, CISPR11, CISPR22, CISPR12 and others.
-
EMC/RF/ESD Design and Analysis: Analog, digital, power supplies, telecom, industrial, medical RF, 2 to 20 PCB layers, DC to several GHz.
-
Wireless Devices EMC and Radio Compliance: FCC CFR47 15.247, EN300-328, EN301-489.
-
Wireless Devices Radio Compliance: FCC Parts 22 and 24.
-
Wireless Device product design.
Please see below for a list of our most frequently requested tests and further details on testing frequency ranges and ramifications for the Device Under Test (DUT).
RFTek Pre-Certification Testing Capabilities and Parameters
The table below provides information on the types of Pre-Certification tests that are offered by RFTek and the corresponding test standard and frequency range. RFTek supports a Device Under Test (DUT) that is up to 1 ft³ and up to 25 lbs. For the radiated and spurious emissions testing, we support Idle Mode and up to 3 transmitting frequencies for the DUT Mode. For the radiated spurious emissions (RSE), we support Idle Mode and up to 3 bands (mid-channel testing only) for the DUT Mode. For each type of test, a summary report is issued to the client following testing.
Type of Test | Test Standard | Frequency Range |
---|---|---|
Radiated spurious emissions (RSE) pre-check development testing | PTCRB | 700 MHz - 18 GHz |
FCC conducted emissions pre-check development testing | FCC CFR47 Part 15 | 150 kHz - 30 MHz |
Conducted emissions pre-check development testing | CE EMC Directive | 150 kHz - 30 MHz |
FCC radiated emissions pre-check development testing | FCC CFR47 Part 15 | 30 MHz - 18 GHz |
Conducted emissions pre-check development testing | CE EMC Directive | 30 MHz - 18 GHz |
